finished this little painting tonight, thought I’d post it.
I was trying for a very graphic, almost animation kinda feel. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. It’s acrylic on canvasboard, 4×5 inches
In other news, For the past several weeks I’ve been taking an online course in digital painting of the human figure. It’s with Don seegmiller and hosted by CGSociety. I’ll post some of the stuff I’ve been doing in the course soon. Once the course is over I’ll write a short summary and review of what it was like.
Fan-friggin’-tastic. I love the smoke. Such a simple character, but the facial expression and details just make everything POP.
